ARCHIVE/Marbella 2026
Sergio Dalma
Sergio Dalma performed at Starlite Occident Marbella on August 4, 2026, his third visit to the festival, with more than two hours of music conceived as a journey through memories that ended with "Bailar Pegados" and "Galilea".
A journey of memories through songs
The artist had promised "a journey of memories, of sensations through songs", and set the tone from the start: "A song marks us from the moment we are born", he said as he walked on. For more than two hours he revisited the shared memory of several generations, from family cars with no air conditioning to song festivals watched at home in black and white, and joked with the crowd: "Tonight at Starlite Occident, shoulder pads are back! Tonight in Marbella, flared trousers are back!".
"Rumore" in the crowd and nods to Gipsy Kings and Zucchero
Dalma stepped down from the stage to sing "Rumore" surrounded by the audience and came back with a red lipstick mark on his cheek. He performed "Volare", the classic Gipsy Kings had played on the same stage weeks earlier, and "Baila Morena" by Zucchero, another name from this season. He also dedicated a Pablo Alborán song to the audience: "Sometimes music, a song, can be therapeutic". Those attending included Alejandro Gravier, who celebrated his birthday with Valeria Mazza and their children, Fernando Martínez de Irujo, Gonzalo de la Cierva and Pepe Navarro.
Applause for the crew and Sandra García-Sanjuán on stage
Visibly moved, the singer asked for a round of applause for the fifteen editions of Starlite Occident Marbella and acknowledged, one by one, the technicians, musicians and production staff working behind the stage. He then stopped the concert to invite Sandra García-Sanjuán, the festival's founder, to join him and publicly thanked her for her work on behalf of music and artists. "Bailar Pegados" and "Galilea" brought the farewell: "Marbella, hasta siempre".
Sergio Dalma said goodbye to Starlite Occident Marbella sharing the applause between those in front of the stage and those who work behind it.
