Yandel Sinfónico
Yandel made his Starlite Occident Marbella debut on July 18, 2026 with a sold-out show in his symphonic format: an orchestra reworking his reggaeton hits with classical arrangements.
Reggaeton in symphonic form
The concert was part of the "Sinfónico 2026 – Europe" tour. Songs such as "Encantadora", "Ay Mi Dios" and "Mayor Que Yo" sat alongside an instrumental tribute to Spanish composer Antonio Soler, conducted by Mexican maestro Javier Mendoza, and a short flamenco interlude midway through the show. "This concept has come at a very special moment in my career, when I'm well prepared and experienced. I'm enjoying it to the full", said Yandel, who made a point of thanking the orchestra's musicians.
"I feel like a new artist"
"I'm very happy to be at Starlite Occident. I feel like a new artist, because I had never been here before. I love the way I've been treated and the affection I've received. This place is very prestigious, everything feels more intimate here", said the Puerto Rican artist. He went down to sing with the audience several times and wanted a photo of the Cantera lit by thousands of phones as a keepsake. His family watched the concert from the Presidential Box.
Gadiel, La Pared and the Spanish flag
Gadiel joined Yandel on stage for "La Pared", one of the biggest singalongs of the night. Yandel also projected the Spanish flag on the screen to wish the national team luck ahead of the World Cup final against Argentina, played the following day, and the audience responded with an ovation.
Yandel left Starlite Occident Marbella with, in his own words, "a very beautiful experience" and a photo of the glowing Cantera to take back to Puerto Rico.
