On Thursday, August 13^th, Iván Ferreiro, an undisputed figure of Spanish indie rock and pop rock, will take to the stage of the Starlite Occident Auditorium for the first time.

Iván Ferreiro was the leader, singer, and principal songwriter of Los Piratas for thirteen years, a key band in Spain’s national music scene with whom he released twelve albums and left a legacy that continues to be revered.

After the group disbanded at the end of 2003, he launched a solid solo career that was cemented with Canciones para el tiempo y la distancia (2005), a landmark album in contemporary Spanish pop rock that includes “Turnedo”, considered by critics to be one of the most emblematic songs of his career. Since then, he has developed a body of work defined by experimentation, creative honesty, and constant artistic evolution.

Albums such as “Las siete y media”, “Mentiroso mentiroso”, “Picnic Extraterrestre”, “Confesiones de un artista de mierda”, “Val Miñor–Madrid”, “Casa”, and “Trinchera Pop” have reaffirmed his prestige among audiences and critics alike, accompanied by extensive international tours. Starlite’s audience will enjoy a unique live performance, filled with emotion, great songs, and the unmistakable personality of one of the most respected artists in Spanish music.
