After his unforgettable appearance at Starlite Occident in 2019, John Legend returns to the festival on Monday, July 20th as one of the great international voices that have shaped the 21st century. Magnetic, passionate, and innately elegant, his music reflects an artist whose sensitivity and charisma have illuminated the global scene since the early 2000s.
After emerging from the Philadelphia neo-soul scene and making his first collaborations within the hip-hop and R&B sphere, he debuted in 2004 with Get Lifted, beginning a rising career that established him as one of the essential voices of the genre.
In recent decades, John Legend has expanded his artistic legacy by combining his musical career with impactful audiovisual and social projects. Winner of an Emmy, a GRAMMY®, an Oscar, and a Tony — becoming the first African American to achieve EGOT status — he has delivered global anthems such as “All of Me” and has continued releasing works that explore soul, contemporary R&B, and pop with a mature and socially conscious perspective. His stage presence, virtuosity at the piano, and ability to move audiences turn each concert into an intimate, elegant, and deeply memorable experience.
