Malú returned to the Starlite Occident Marbella Auditorium on August 10, 2026 with a concert spanning her fifteen albums and thirty years of songs, and shared a family memory tied to this very stage.

Fifteen albums and a set list built for the audience

"You come home; it's that place you always want to come back to," Malú said as the night began. She introduced the concert as a summary of her whole career: "There are fifteen albums, a lot of songs, and I truly hope you enjoy this little journey tonight." Speaking about "15", the album that gives its name to her tour, she described it as "a huge emotional release", a record made "with no filter, no fear" and from her "real identity". She also looked back at the teenager who was starting out in music and admitted that the advice she was given most often, and never listened to, was "enjoy it": "I've learned to enjoy it now, two tours ago."

Remembering Paco de Lucía at the Cantera

Malú revealed that the only time her uncle, guitarist Paco de Lucía, saw her perform live was at Starlite Occident in 2013, when he was due to play the same stage a day or two later. "He called me in the car, on my way to the soundcheck," she recalled. "We played that concert for him, obviously." Afterwards he told her he had liked it very much. He died a few months later, and she later learned he had left some recorded words: "They gave them to me about a month after he died. I ran into Sandra and she said: 'I have something for you.'" Malú explained that she always worked seeking his approval and that his silence was a good sign: "It meant everything was fine."

Melendi, "El Apagón" and an encore at the piano

Melendi, who was watching the concert from the audience with Julia Nakamatsu and Sandra García-Sanjuán, came on stage unannounced to sing "El Apagón" with her. "The less we rehearse something, the better it turns out," Malú joked. The set opened with a medley of "Todo sabe a ti" and "Por si alguna vez" and moved through "Eres el agua", "Enamorada" and "Dame tu alma". There was an acoustic guitar block with "Guerra Fría", "Aquí" and "Vuelvo a verte" and, in the encore, a piano section in which "Aprendiz" drew an ovation, before the closing numbers "Ausente" and "Cómo una flor".

"You'll have me here whenever you want me," Malú said before saying goodbye to Marbella and Starlite Occident with a "see you soon".
