Pastora Soler performed at the Cantera of Starlite Occident Marbella for the first time on August 22, 2026, a debut that included an unplanned duet with Marta Sánchez.
A debut years in the waiting
"Today I'm fulfilling a dream I had: being on this stage after 15 years of editions of this festival, a true benchmark in this country," the singer from Seville said as soon as she greeted the audience. With more than three decades behind her, Pastora Soler moved through different stages of her career in a concert that the closeness of the stage made especially intimate.
"La tormenta", a duet with Marta Sánchez
Marta Sánchez, one of the artists who has performed most often at Starlite Occident, was watching from the Presidential Box with Sandra García-Sanjuán and Antoñito Molina. When the time came for "La tormenta", Pastora Soler addressed her from the stage and asked her to come up and sing it. Marta Sánchez accepted and the two performed the song together, a spontaneous moment the audience welcomed warmly and that served as a welcome for the Sevillian singer on her first night.
A family night that continued in the Lounge
The singer wanted her loved ones around her: her husband, her two daughters, her parents, her mother-in-law and many friends travelled to Marbella for the concert. Afterwards, Pastora Soler stayed on at the Starlite Occident Lounge, where she celebrated with family and friends at the afterparty.
Pastora Soler arrived at Starlite Occident Marbella with a dream she said out loud, and left having sung with one of the venue's veterans.
