On Friday, July 31^th, Starlite Occident will receive Rosana, one of the most distinctive and recognizable voices in Spanish music, with a career defined by sensitivity, authenticity, and compositional talent.

From her beginnings in Lanzarote, where she started playing the guitar at the age of five and composing at eight, Rosana has built a solid and consistent career. After moving to Madrid to pursue her musical training, she began her path as a songwriter for major artists before making her debut in 1996 with Lunas Rotas, an album that propelled her to success with songs such as “El Talismán” and “Sin Miedo,” earning two Ondas Awards.

Over the years, she has continued to evolve with works such as Luna Nueva, Magia, and En la memoria de la piel, consolidating a unique style that blends pop, roots, and emotion.

Her music—honest and heartfelt—has connected with several generations, remaining relevant and constantly evolving.
