On Monday, August 11th, the successful Scottish pop rock band Texas will return to the Starlite Occident stage.
Formed in 1986 in Glasgow, Texas first came to prominence in 1989 with their single “I Don’t Want A Lover”, which reached number eight in the charts. Since then, they have released ten studio albums and sold more than 40 million records worldwide. Their sound, which combines pop, rock and soul, has evolved over the years, keeping them as one of the most beloved bands. Their hits include “Say What You Want”, “Black Eyed Boy”, “Inner Smile” or “Summer Son”.
In 2023, the band released “The Very Best Of 1989-2023”, a compilation with 24 of their best songs, including two unreleased tracks: “Keep On Talking” and “After All”. Their music has conquered audiences around the world. Texas is still in top form and promises to continue offering unforgettable shows with the same passion that has characterized them since their beginnings.
