On Friday, August 14th, Starlite Occident will welcome Vanesa Martín, one of the most influential and respected voices in Spanish pop, who has once again chosen the boutique festival to reconnect with her audience under the stars.
With more than 15 years of experience, the Malaga-born artist has built a solid career based on honest, emotional, and direct songs, consolidating her success with multiple platinum albums, nominations for the industry’s top awards, and sold-out tours in Spain and Latin America. Her sensitivity, lyrical ability, and interpretive power have made her an essential creator on the current music scene.
Casa Mía represents Vanesa Martín’s freest and most authentic project: an album composed of twelve songs that dialogue between the roots and the avant-garde, moving naturally between copla, bachata, bolero, and electronic music. With the special collaboration of Joaquín Sabina on “No nos supimos querer” and songs such as “Universo de Sobra” and “Cómo te digo,” the artist displays a repertoire where emotion, identity, and courage coexist without labels. At Starlite Occident, these new compositions will be intertwined with great hits from her career such as “Aún no te has ido,” “…y vuelo,” and “90 minutos,” in a night marked by sensitivity and a direct connection with the Starlite Occident audience.
