La Oreja de Van Gogh stirs emotions at Starlite Occident 2024

A night to dream with the greatest Spanish pop anthems

La Oreja de Van Gogh filled the Starlite Occident 2024 Auditorium with an unforgettable performance, where nostalgia, romance and a deep bond with the audience took center stage. The legendary band from Donosti played to a sold-out crowd in Marbella, proving that their music remains as relevant as ever nearly 30 years on.

From the very first notes, the quarry became a massive sing-along, with fans of all ages belting out classics like “París”, “La Playa”, “Pop”, “Rosas”, “Puedes contar conmigo”, “20 de enero”, “Jueves”, “Muñeca de trapo” and “El primer día”. Every song unleashed a wave of collective emotion and memories.

Leire Martínez shone with flawless vocals and heartfelt chemistry with her bandmates: Pablo Benegas, Xabi San Martín, Álvaro Fuentes and Haritz Garde. Together, they proved that true artistry needs no gimmicks to move an audience. They also performed songs from their latest album, “Un Susurro en la Tormenta”, including “Abrázame” and “Sirenas”.

The band was more in sync than ever, the result of nearly three years on tour with their latest project. Staying true to their signature style — fresh pop, poetic lyrics and a warm, genuine stage presence — they delivered a night to remember.

Among the guests were familiar faces like Sheila Casas, Victoria Federica, Juan Magán, Valeria Mazza, Alejandro Gravier, Mario Jefferson and Paula Koops, enjoying a magical evening under the stars.

After the concert, the party moved to Sessions, Starlite Occident’s open-air nightclub, where Juan Magán took over the decks. The crowd danced the night away to “Bailando por ahí”, “Por fin te encontré” and “Verano Azul”, closing out a magical night.
