Sheryl Crow shines at Starlite Occident with timeless anthems

A night of American rock, unforgettable memories and electrifying energy

Starlite Occident 2024 welcomed iconic artist Sheryl Crow for the very first time, in a night filled with nostalgia, charisma and pure live music. With her signature raspy voice, guitar and trusted band, the American rock legend delivered the hits that defined a generation.

Starlite Occident is amazing. It’s so beautiful and surrounded by nature… I love it,” said the singer moments before stepping on stage, clearly moved by the setting. And she didn’t disappoint: the audience lit up with every chord, lyric and shared smile.

Sheryl Crow performed an unbeatable setlist, including classics like “All I Wanna Do”, “Strong Enough”, “Real Gone”, “If It Makes You Happy” and “Soak Up the Sun”. These iconic songs from the ’90s remain anthems for both longtime fans and a new generation. She also performed “The First Cut is the Deepest” in tribute to Cat Stevens, who took the stage last year at the festival.

There was total connection with the audience, as the Auditorium transformed into a collective celebration of great music. The artist, who was part of Michael Jackson’s Bad World Tour in the ’80s, shared her love for Spain and recalled stories from a visit to the Rock of Gibraltar, now coming full circle with her performance in Marbella.

Among the crowd were celebrities like Brigitte Nielsen, Nicole Kimpel, Marta Martínez-Bordiú and Mexican entrepreneur Ricardo Salinas with his wife, all enjoying a magical evening under the stars.

After the concert, the Sessions stage turned into an open-air dance floor with Juan Magán as the headline DJ. Tracks like “Bailando por ahí” and “Verano Azul” closed the night with a festive, high-energy atmosphere.

Sheryl Crow’s debut at Starlite Occident 2024 marked a historic moment, reaffirming the festival’s place as the world’s leading boutique music experience.
