Ana Belén returned to the stage at Starlite Occident 2025 after six years away, delivering an evening that was much more than a concert: an intimate encounter between the musical history of a country and the voice that has narrated it for over five decades. At 74, the Madrid-born artist proved that her magnetism and talent remain untouched.
Dressed in orange and with a radiant smile, Ana Belén opened the night with “Solo le pido a Dios”, showing that some songs transcend time. The audience, standing and thrilled, sang along to timeless anthems like “La Puerta de Alcalá”, “Peces de Ciudad”, “Contamíname” and “Agapimú”. Among the attendees were familiar faces such as Miguel Poveda and Charo Vega, who joined in the emotion of such a highly anticipated comeback.
It wasn’t all about the past: the artist also presented songs from her upcoming album, including “Que no hablen en mi nombre” and “Cinecittà”, proof of an artistic vision that remains curious, bold and strikingly current. Between songs, she shared anecdotes and reflections, further connecting with a captivated audience that surrendered to her authenticity.
With a career spanning more than fifty years, Ana Belén is one of the most iconic figures in Spanish culture, honored with awards such as the Honorary Goya, the Gold Medal of Merit in the Fine Arts and the Latin Grammy for Musical Excellence. At Starlite Occident 2025, she reaffirmed her status as a living legend, turning the quarry into an intimate lounge filled with emotion and shared memory.
After the concert, the quarry came alive with the energy of DJ Nano, who closed the night with an electrifying and emotional set. The Madrid-born DJ will return to the festival on August 21, as well as hosting his iconic Oro Viejo party on August 12.
