Generational indie rock and an explosive live show that turned Marbella into a collective pogo
Carolina Durante made their debut at Starlite Occident 2025 with a concert that captured their very essence: overflowing attitude, razor-sharp guitars and a setlist sung from start to finish. The Madrid quartet, now established as one of Spain’s leading indie rock acts, presented their tour Choose Your Own Adventure and transformed the Auditorium into a massive celebration of jumps, mosh pits and generational communion.

The night kicked off with an unexpected twist: the iconic theme from The Office played as fluorescent lights and an office-like aesthetic set the stage. From that moment, the audience surrendered to the charisma of Diego Ibáñez (vocals), the power of Mario del Valle (guitar), and the flawless rhythm section of Martín Vallhonrat (bass) and Juan Pedrayes (drums).
For ninety minutes, Carolina Durante delivered a set that blended their newest work with crowd favorites: “Hamburguesas”, “Normal”, “Perdona (ahora sí que sí)”, “Las canciones de Juanita” and “Granja Escuela”. Each track hit like a direct shot, with fans singing, jumping and raising their arms as the quarry turned into a true community. Songs like “Yo pensaba que me había tocado Dios”, “Niña de hielo” and “Estrella” showcased the raw power of a band that connects effortlessly and knows exactly where it’s heading.
“When we wrote these songs, we never imagined we’d get to play them in a place like this. It’s our first time at Starlite Occident and the place is pretty amazing,” Diego confessed, highlighting the emotion of a debut filled with truth and energy.
The celebration continued afterwards at the Sessions stage, where the party carried on into the early hours with more music, dancing and that unique spirit that makes Starlite Occident the world’s leading boutique festival.
Starlite Occident 2025 once again reaffirmed its essence as an intergenerational meeting point, where era-defining bands find their ideal stage under Marbella’s stars.
