On Wednesday 28th August, Starlite Occident will welcome Omar Montes, one of the most successful Spanish urban artists of recent years.
Continuing the tradition that began in the late 70s of fusing flamenco with Afro-American rhythms and with his particular way of understanding music, he has become one of the leading exponents of the new ‘urban flamenco’, fusing trap, hip hop, EDM, reggae and reggaeton with flamenco.
‘Prendio Remix’, ‘Alocao’, ‘Arena y sal’, ‘La rubia remix’ and ‘La Sevillana’ are just some of the great hits that the public will be able to enjoy live. Songs that have led Omar Montes to receive national and international recognition such as a Latin Grammy nomination.
