Electropop, irreverence and an epic after party with Mario Vaquerizo on the decks
Starlite Occident 2025 experienced one of its wildest nights with a double bill featuring Fangoria and Nancys Rubias, who turned the quarry into a stage of glitter, attitude and generational anthems. With a complete sold out, glamour and irreverence took over the Auditorium in a night that will go down as one of the festival’s most memorable.

The evening kicked off with Nancys Rubias, where Mario Vaquerizo unleashed his full magnetism in a show as kitsch as it was fun. Impossible wigs, sky-high platforms and a setlist that had everyone dancing to hits like “Peluquitas”, “Me encanta” and “Alfabeto Nancy”. With his trademark humor and flamboyant poses, Mario and his band once again proved why they are icons of provocation and fun.
Next came Fangoria, with Alaska and Nacho Canut leading a deluxe electronic pop rave. Timeless hits like “A quién le importa”, “Ni tú ni nadie”, “Dramas y comedias”, “Retorciendo palabras” and “Cómo pudiste hacerme esto a mí” resonated as cultural manifestos, enhanced by dazzling visuals. With her striking costume changes and magnetic presence, Alaska reminded everyone that Fangoria doesn’t follow trends: they set them.
And because the party never ends when Alaska and Mario are involved, the night carried on at the Sessions stage with a DJ Set by Mario Vaquerizo, who turned the quarry into Marbella’s ultimate dancefloor. Disco anthems, pop-rock classics and his boundless energy kept the celebration going until dawn.
Among the audience were familiar faces such as Paula Echevarría, Carmen Lomana, rapper Elio Toffana, former Mexican president Felipe Calderón, Costa del Sol Tourism president Francisco Salado and Marbella’s mayor María Ángeles Muñoz, all enjoying this unforgettable night.
Starlite Occident 2025 once again proved its boutique essence, hosting an evening that was more than a concert: a true celebration of music, style and freedom.
