Farruko debuts at Starlite Occident with a powerful and heartfelt show

Conscious reggaeton and raw emotion conquer Marbella

Farruko performed for the first time at Starlite Occident with a show that fused the power of reggaeton with messages of resilience, spirituality and self-love, introducing his most personal album to date: “Carbon Armor”. It was a night of high energy, deep connection and moving moments.

Being here at Starlite Occident is amazing. This is a festival where countless admirable stars have performed. I’m super happy to be here“, said the artist moments before taking the stage. From the very first beat, the Auditorium was charged with his energy, stage presence and intensity.

Farruko performed tracks from “Carbon Armor”, an introspective album born from life experiences, setbacks and rebirths, with lyrics meant to inspire, uplift and reach the soul. “Sahara”, his acclaimed collaboration with Elena Vargas blending flamenco pop and urban music, was met with roaring applause.

He also thrilled fans with hits like “Tóxica”, “Fantasía”, “Pepas” and *”Good Energy”, turning the night into a celebration of rhythm and heartfelt expression. At 33, Farruko proved his artistic and personal evolution, moving beyond beats to touch hearts.

One of the most emotional moments came when he dedicated the concert to his grandfather, who had passed away that very day, saying: “We all have problems. You see me smiling, but today I lost my grandfather. Wherever you are, I love you and miss you“.

Familiar faces like Guaynaa, Mala Rodríguez, Isaac Belk, Shelao and Marilia joined the Starlite Occident crowd for a magical night under the stars.

After the concert, the party continued at Sessions, the festival’s bold open-air club, where top resident DJs kept the celebration going until dawn in a natural and vibrant atmosphere.

Starlite Occident 2024 continues to solidify its status as the world’s leading boutique festival, with a lineup that transcends styles and generations, offering 60 concerts in the Auditorium and over 300 shows in Sessions.
