Guitarricadelafuente debuts at Starlite Occident 2025

An intimate and magnetic journey that turned the quarry into a contemporary ritual

Starlite Occident 2025 welcomed Guitarricadelafuente for the first time, in a night where the young Spanish artist delivered an intense, daring and nuanced concert. Presenting his second album, Spanish Leather, he unfolded a sonic universe where the visceral and the poetic coexist, blending roots, electronic sounds and an artisanal aesthetic that captivated the audience from the very first note.

The evening opened with “Full Time Papi”, a song that embodies the spirit of his new work: wholehearted surrender. From there, the setlist flowed between new and familiar tracks: “BABIECA!”, “Guantanamera” —inspired by Cuevas de Cañart, the tiny Aragonese town of his childhood—, and an unexpected remix of “Port Pelegrí” that set the Auditorium alight. Without needing lengthy speeches, his body, voice and staging spoke for him, transforming Starlite Occident into a blend of festivity and catharsis.

Among the audience were familiar faces such as Victoria Federica, Willy Bárcenas, Loreto Sesma, Paula Ordovás and Antonio Díaz (Mago Pop), who enjoyed every moment of this powerful debut.

Following his performance at the Auditorium, the Sessions stage hosted the Hermanos Martínez, who presented “Súbete el Volumen” with contagious energy and raw authenticity. Songs like “Canalla”, “Vals” and “Para qué me escribes” became shared anthems, proving that their greatest strength lies in live performance.

Starlite Occident 2025 once again confirms its role as the world’s leading boutique festival, offering nights where tradition and modernity come together beneath Marbella’s starlit sky.
