Los Secretos captivate Starlite Occident 2025

A journey through the unforgettable classics of Spanish pop rock

Starlite Occident 2025 experienced an unforgettable night with Los Secretos, one of Spain’s most influential and beloved bands. With over four decades of history, the group led by Álvaro Urquijo delivered a concert where every song became a shared anthem between stage and audience.

The evening opened with the fresh talent of OM Domínguez, the young Canary Islander and winner of the Sonora contest, who charmed the Auditorium before the legendary band took the stage.

With the full lineup —Álvaro Urquijo on vocals and guitar, Ramón Arroyo and Txetxu Altube on guitars, Juanjo Ramos on bass, Jesús Redondo on piano and Santi Fernández on drums— Los Secretos brought a setlist brimming with history and emotion. The opening tracks “María”, “Dos caras distintas” and “La calle del olvido” instantly ignited the crowd.

Timeless hits like “Pero a tu lado”, “Échame a mí la culpa”, “Y no amanece”, “Bulevar” and “Gracias por elegirme” followed, with the audience singing along passionately, turning the quarry into a massive collective karaoke.

One of the night’s most emotional moments came when Álvaro paid tribute to his brother Enrique Urquijo, before performing “Aunque tú no lo sepas”: “We are very aware that without Enrique’s songs, perhaps this wonderful audience wouldn’t have been so faithful. It’s possible,” he admitted with emotion.

The grand finale was pure energy. “Sobre un vidrio mojado” and “Déjame” had the entire Auditorium on its feet in a euphoric burst of choruses, clapping and nostalgia, closing the concert on a high note.

Among the audience were Paula Echevarría, Makoke, Arancha de Benito, Casilda Guerrero-Burgos and Rodrigo Moreno de Borbón, who enjoyed this magical night under Marbella’s stars.

Starlite Occident 2025 once again proved to be the stage where music becomes memory, emotion and shared celebration.
