The Colombian artist conquers Marbella with bachata, reggaeton and a heartfelt connection with the crowd
Manuel Turizo’s first performance at the Starlite Occident Auditorium was pure talent, rhythm and Latin passion. The Colombian singer lit up Marbella’s quarry with a vibrant show, marked by closeness to his fans and a hit-filled setlist that has taken the world by storm.
After performing at Christmas by Starlite in Madrid, Turizo brought his signature urban bachata and smooth reggaeton to the boutique festival, presenting songs from his album “2000” like “La Bachata”, “El Merengue” and “Éxtasis”. Every note echoed through a fully engaged Auditorium, turning the evening into a magical summer night.

One of the most touching moments came when he invited a young fan on stage to sing “La Bachata” with him, melting hearts with his tenderness and authenticity. He also sang “Happy Birthday” to another fan, reinforcing his reputation for closeness and warmth.
At just 24, Manuel Turizo has become a leading name in international Latin music, racking up millions of streams and collaborating with stars like Maluma, Rauw Alejandro and Sebastián Yatra. He also performed tracks from his albums “ADN” and “Dopamina”, including “Esperándote”, “Culpables”, “Amor en coma” and the global hit “Una lady como tú”.
“At first we were just doing covers. We never thought music could be a real option… but we followed our hearts, worked hard, and one day, everything changed,” he shared emotionally.
After the concert, the party continued at Sessions, Starlite Occident’s open-air club, where Juan Magán kept the crowd dancing with hits like “Bailando por ahí”, “Por fin te encontré” and “Verano Azul”, taking the night into the early hours.
Nature, technology and cutting-edge music came together to create an unforgettable evening at the world’s leading boutique festival.
