The Colombian star lights up Starlite Occident with a night of magic, passion and premieres
Sebastián Yatra once again made history at Starlite Occident 2024, in what was his one and only concert in Spain this summer. Before a packed and enthusiastic Auditorium, the Colombian artist delivered an unforgettable show, blending the power of his greatest hits with the excitement of a new creative chapter.
“At Starlite Occident, I always feel the energy of being home,” Yatra confessed at the beginning of the night. That statement holds special meaning given his history with the festival: after debuting on the Sessions stage in 2017 and 2018, he has now filled the Auditorium four consecutive years with his charisma, voice and warmth.
The star-lit quarry pulsed to the rhythm of his most iconic songs: “Tacones Rojos”, “Pareja del Año”, “Cristina”, “No hay Nadie Más”, “Vagabundo”, and more. In addition to reliving the hits that made him a global star, Sebastián Yatra shared exciting news with his fans: on August 29, he will release his new single “Los Domingos”, the result of a year and a half of introspection and songwriting. “It’s been a pretty crazy year musically. I needed to sit down and write about what I was living, while also living new experiences,” he confessed.
With three studio albums—including the acclaimed “Dharma” (2022)—and countless collaborations with artists like Carlos Vives, Ricky Martin, Maná, and Juan Magán, Yatra solidified his position last night as one of today’s leading voices in Latin music.
