Texas shines at Starlite Occident 2025

A magical night with the iconic Scottish band of the 90s

Starlite Occident 2025 traveled back to the late 90s with the much-anticipated concert of Texas, the legendary Glasgow band led by the magnetic Sharleen Spiteri. The group delivered a vibrant, cinematic journey through their career, filled with charisma, attitude and timeless hits that turned the Auditorium into an emotional time capsule.

The show opened powerfully with “I Don’t Want A Lover”, instantly getting the audience on their feet. Sharleen, with her unmistakable voice and warm humor, charmed the crowd as she joked about the Andalusian heat and improvised with fans. Over two hours, Texas performed their most iconic tracks —“Summer Son”, “Black Eyed Boy”, “Halo”, “Inner Smile”— before closing with a triumphant “Say What You Want”. Their latest songs, including “Hi”, “Mr. Haze” and “Keep On Talking”, also showcased the band’s enduring creativity. The encore featured a stunning rendition of Elvis Presley’s “Suspicious Minds”, perfectly capturing their blend of rock, soul and elegance.

Among the audience were Pablo Alborán, María José Suárez, Juan Peña and Marilia, all enjoying Texas’ magical performance under Marbella’s starlit sky.

After the Auditorium concert, the Sessions stage welcomed Spanish artist Inazio, who presented his album “Música para bailar sobre el agua”. With songs like “Vacío”, “Lo que haga falta” and “Norte”, he delivered a heartfelt and intimate performance, cementing his place as one of today’s most promising indie folk voices.

Starlite Occident 2025 once again confirmed its boutique spirit, uniting international legends and emerging talents in unforgettable nights beneath Marbella’s stars.
