The Corrs shine again at Starlite Occident 2024

A magical reunion with Spanish fans after eight years

Eight years after their memorable 2016 concert, The Corrs returned to Starlite Occident with a performance filled with nostalgia, virtuosity and Celtic magic. It was one of only two concerts the band will give in Spain this year, and the Auditorium overflowed with emotion as the Corr siblings reunited with an adoring audience.

It’s wonderful to be back in this beautiful, very unique and impressive place. Yesterday we saw Keane and it was amazing. Tonight, we’re here to have fun and escape from any harsh realities,” said Jim Corr from the stage, earning the night’s first big ovation.

The evening began with a burst of female energy from Germain, the Australian sister trio whose charismatic folk-rock set was the perfect prelude to the main event.

Andrea, Sharon, Caroline and Jim Corr delivered a set full of elegance and emotion, performing classics like “Only When I Sleep”, “Give Me A Reason”, “Summer Sunshine” and “What Can I Do”, followed by gems like “Runaway”, “So Young”, “Radio” and the timeless “Breathless”, joyfully sung by the entire crowd.

With over 40 million albums sold, The Corrs have left an indelible mark on Celtic pop-rock history, blending Irish tradition, pop sensibility and family harmonies that continue to move audiences.

After the concert, the party continued at Sessions, Starlite Occident’s most cutting-edge space, where nature, music and technology came together for an after-party under the stars.

Starlite Occident 2024 reaffirms its status as the world’s leading boutique festival, welcoming performances that transcend time and connect generations.
