Vanesa Martín moves Starlite Occident 2024 with complicity and timeless hits

A magical night of greatest hits, family surprises and an unforgettable after party

Vanesa Martín chose Starlite Occident 2024 to deliver one of the most special concerts of her tour, in a night that became a true celebration of music, emotions and complicity with her fans. The Málaga-born singer-songwriter, already working on her next album, delivered a heartfelt setlist filled with her biggest hits, personal confessions and intimate moments that confirmed once again her special bond with Marbella’s quarry.

I feel like Starlite Occident is a big family, I feel at home here. I love the energy of this festival. I don’t want to leave,” she admitted emotionally. With more than 15 years of career, Vanesa performed essential songs like “Frenar enero”, “Complicidad”, “Polvo de mariposas” and “Te has perdido”, along with more recent anthems like “Y vuelo”, “Inventas” and “No te pude retener”.

She also showcased songs from her Grammy-nominated album Placeres y Pecados (2022), including “Punto y Coma”, “Cuando no estabas” and “Si pudiera”, the latter featuring Jesse & Joy. One of the night’s most touching moments came when she invited her sisters-in-law on stage: “At home we always end up singing and we have a wide repertoire. The first time I brought them on stage was here, at Starlite Occident, and tonight I wanted them to join me again,” she said with a smile.

Among the attendees were familiar faces such as Sonsoles Ónega, Carmen Lomana, María Casado and Jorge Redondo, who enjoyed one of Marbella’s most special nights of the summer.

After the concert, the celebration continued at the Sessions stage, where international DJ Robin Schulz delivered a powerful after party filled with his signature mixes of house, electro and pop, keeping the crowd dancing late into the night on his debut appearance at the festival.

Starlite Occident 2024 once again proved why it is the world’s leading boutique festival, hosting nights where music and emotion are lived as family.
